About Us
Sullivan, New Hampshire is a very small town in Southern New Hampshire, near Keene. The population is under 700 and the entire town is zoned residential/agriculture.
Our government is town meeting. This meeting in March decides the budget for the year as well as warrant articles. The Board of Selectmen carry out the wishes of this meeting on a day to day basis. Special meetings may be called if required.
We provide for town wide services either through contracted services such as police or ambulance services, employees such as the highway department or volunteers such as the fire department or conservation.
For example, the fire/rescue department is all volunteer with ambulance service provided by DiLuzio Ambulance out of Keene, NH. Our police services are provided through a contract with the Cheshire County Sheriff's Department.
