Sullivan School District SAU96
On Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, the voters of the Monadnock Regional School District approved the withdrawal of the Town of Sullivan from the cooperative by 412-308. Residents of Sullivan have created an independent school district, allowing for more local decision-making and oversight.
The new district SAU 96 began operation July 1, 2013.
- Grades K-5 attend Nelson Elementary School
- Grades 6-8 attend Keene Middle School
- Grades 9-12 attend Keene High School
The Sullivan School Board is comprised of five elected individuals with 3 year terms.
The Sullivan School Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the downstairs conference room at Sullivan Town Hall.
Members of the public are always welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Sullivan School District SAU #96 began operation on July 1, 2013. Residents of Sullivan created an independent school district, allowing for more local decision-making and oversight. The mission of the Sullivan School District is to provide our resident students with access to a highquality educational program that promotes achievement and prepares our students to be contributing members of our society.

The next Sullivan School Board monthly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday April 9th at 6:30PM in lower town hall.
The public is welcomed to join the monthly meetings, there is room for social distancing.

Thank you to the town voters for approving the 2025/2026 Sullivan School District Budget.
**Re-elections were held and the following members have been elected.**
- School Board Member 3-year term: Michael Brooks 62 votes
- School Board Member 3-year term: Write-in 11 people received 1 vote each. To be determined by the school board committee
- School District Moderator 3-year term: William Thorndike 60 votes
- School District Clerk 3-year term: Paul Bolduc 60 votes
- School Board Treasurer: Vacant **We are seeking a Sullivan School District Treasurer.**
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Paul Bolduc for his dedicated service as a school board member since the inception of the Sullivan School Board. His insight into educational needs and concerns has been invaluable to our community.
We would also like to express our gratitude to Chris Pratt for his many years of service as the District Moderator. His leadership and commitment have been greatly appreciated.
Lastly, we want to thank Sara Bolduc (District Clerk) and Ann Gray (District Treasurer) for their assistance in stepping in over the past few years. Their support has been essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the district.
